Kurt Miller has been part of the fabric of the Inland Empire, even before his 36 plus year as a photographer of The Press-Enterprise. "I started out with a paper route, delivering the P-E, before that I worked at the Fox Riverside through high school".
Kurt worked his way from a lab tech to full time photographer. "l even was given the honor of having the P-E 'Photo of the Century" in 2000, the troops lining up to board the plane at March, it's on permanent display at the Time Life Building".
Kurt was on two different projects that were nominated for a Pulitzer Prize, in 2006 for the Esperanza Fire, in which five firefighter were killed, and the deadly San Bernardino shooting that left 14 dead.
But in the end..."I just want to take photos that I enjoy, I'm tired of the death and heartbreak".
